Other packaging solutions
As part of our comprehensive packaging, we are able to design a CUSTOM solution for a specific product. Different types of packaging are combined according to the suggestions of our design centre experts. This results in a solution that EXACTLY FITS the customers’ needs.
Rasters and grids
Rasters and grids are used to fix and separate individual products. They are designed to be foldable or as a plastic box with a bottom.
Used materials | Types |
Hollow polypropylene | Separate raster |
Corrugated cardboard | Raster inserted into the box |
Polyethylene | Raster with bottom, with frame |
Options
- Special fixing points to prevent movement of individual parts
- Marking with stickers or printing
- To prevent abrasion of transported parts, the inner walls of the raster can be fitted with a foam or textile layer,
- document holder
Raster construction
In most cases, the raster is designed to be collapsible, saving the customer space and transport costs. Rasters can also be designed as a plastic box with a bottom. The individual parts are joined using hot air, plastic rivets, snap fasteners, gluing, or high-frequency welding. Rasters can have special fixing points moulded into the grid body which fix the part and prevent it from moving in the grid during transport.
Spacers
They are used as a protective layer between rasters, most often in boxes and in metal and wooden structures. Spacers can be provided with cut-outs or 3D fixings for securing products.
Most frequently used materials | Types | Options |
Hollow polypropylene | Individual spacers | Marking with stickers or printing |
Corrugated cardboard | Spacers with cut-outs, holes, etc | Self-adhesive layer for secure attachment to the base |
Polyethylene foam | Raster inserted into the box
Bubble wrap | Spacers stitched with fabric
Laminated HDPE film | Spacers with sealed edges
Polyurethane foam (foam rubber) | Spacers with EPE fixation |
Pallets
Pallets significantly facilitate the assembly and handling of products. In addition to wooden (standard) pallets, we also offer plastic and paper pallets. In this way, pallets can be more stackable, lighter, washable, and more durable.
Most commonly used materials | Types | Options |
Wood | Standard Euro pallets | Surface treatment for overseas transport |
HDPE | Atypical dimensions
Paper | Palette with a lid
Laminated bags and sacks
We produce LAMINATED PACKAGING from several types of materials. Laminated sacks and bags (lamibags) are most often used as PROTECTION AGAINST SCRATCHING of products (monitors, screens, PC components, etc.). Laminated materials combine the advantages of several types of packaging.
Most frequently used materials | Options |
Polyethylene foam | Production of various sizes |
Paper | ESD design |
Bubble wrap | Printing (single-sided, double-sided, multicolor - according to customer's specification) |
HDPE/LDPE film | Ventilation holes, perforations |
Self-adhesive protective films
They are applied directly onto the protected part of the product. This prevents scratching, soiling or electrostatic charge transfer. They are most often applied to the visible parts of the product. They protect glass, plastic, metal, precious woods and porcelain.
Materials used | Types | Options |
LDPE films | Shaped cut-outs | Various kinds of colouring |
In rolls | UV protection | |
Printing |
Vacuum-formed packaging
These are shipping and automation boxes, pads and spacers. These fillings are characterised by high strength and high precision, even for more complex-shaped products. Vacuum-formed packaging is suitable for bigger product batches.
Most frequently used materials | Types | Options |
Polystyrene | Separate boxes with integrated fixing | ESD design |
Polypropylene | Separate molded spacers | Washable |
ABS | Sticker or embossed marking |
