Cortec products provide short, medium and long term corrosion protection. Cortec has developed a completely new generation of volatile corrosion inhibitors (VCI), called VpCI® (Vapour Phase Corrosion Inhibitor). These corrosion inhibitors form a molecular layer on the surface of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and reliably protect them against the corrosive effects of moisture, SO2 and H2S. The uniqueness of the Cortec system lies in the increased pressure of the inhibitors, which displaces water and air molecules from the surface of the packaged product.
