Modern and environmentally friendly packaging

The second generation of bubble wrap has been on the market for several years now, using MULTILAYER (COEXTRUSION) TECHNOLOGY for both the top and bottom layers, with the option of combining layers of different materials with different mechanical properties and functions (strength, permeability, elasticity, etc.). Our BUFO barrier is a 10-layer film (5 + 5 layers).

It is precisely by firmly bonding (sandwiching) multiple layers into a single compact bubble wrap that MUCH BETTER STRENGTH is achieved than with monofilms. This effect is well known in other materials, such as plywood, where, for example, 7-layer plywood with a thickness of 7 mm has better mechanical properties than a 25 mm solid wood board.

We manufacture films with bubbles of various sizes, widths and strengths. We can also laminate, colour or print on the bubble wrap. And of course, we also produce sheets, bags and envelopes.

Bubble size

One of the basic parameters of bubble wrap is the size of the individual bubbles.

M-size bubble wrap with smaller bubbles is the most common type. This bubble wrap is suitable for packing smaller products in boxes as well as bigger products (appliances, furniture), even without the use of external cardboard packaging.

L-size bubble wrap is ideal for packing shipments, as it protects the packaged product and easily fills any empty space.

XL-size bubble wrap is also an excellent filling material.

Wrap dimensions

The width and roll length of bubble wrap are determined by the customer's requirements and the production technology.

We produce bubble wrap with a width of 20 - 200 cm Individual rolls have a length of 5 - 150 meters, but this depends on the size of the bubbles.

Bubble wrap strength

We manufacture a complete range of bubble wrap—FROM LIGHTWEIGHT TO EXTREMELY DURABLE. If the bubble wrap is only used as filling and is not the only packaging material, lighter types can be used. If the product is very fragile and susceptible to scratching, for example, and the bubble wrap is the main packaging, it is better to use a more durable type. It always depends on the specific application.

However, comparing the quality of bubble wrap purely BY WEIGHT IS MISLEADING. This is because its production depends greatly on the manufacturing technology and materials used.

Laminated

Laminating individual types of bubble wrap creates a NEW MATERIAL whose mechanical and physical properties are further enhanced by the type of material used for lamination.

We can laminate bubble wrap on the top and bottom layers, or on both.

Bubble wrap bags and sacks are ready to use. They can be used to package both small products and larger ones, such as furniture.
