Binding straps are used to secure or strap finished industrial products, individual boxes or goods on pallets.

The properties of binding straps are primarily determined by the material from which they are made, the method of production and, of course, their dimensions – width and thickness.

The most commonly used are POLYPROPYLENE (PP) STRAPS, which are used for packaging pallets or individual boxes.

EMBOSSED POLYPROPYLENE (EPP) straps have high elasticity and recovery.

POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE (PET) STRAPS are characterised primarily by their high strength.

POLYESTER BINDING STRAPS (PES) are a modern and environmentally friendly replacement for steel straps with very high strength.

PP binding straps

Polypropylene binding straps are designed for manual and machine STRAPPING OF A WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCTS. PP straps are used for bundling printed materials, re-wrapping boxes, industrial products in packaging and loaded pallets.

Polypropylene binding straps are lightweight but highly durable. PP straps are RESISTANT to adverse environmental influences.

Polypropylene binding straps are joined using metal or plastic clips, or by heat or ultrasonic welding.

EPP binding straps

Elastic polypropylene straps (EPP straps) are embossed binding straps with HIGH STRETCHABILITY (approx. 28 %) and RECOVERY (after stretching, it returns to its original length).

EPP straps are mainly used to secure MATERIALS THAT DECREASE IN VOLUME AND CIRCUMFERENCE DURING TRANSPORT, such as paper, ceramic tiles, roofing materials, etc.

These binding straps are joined with metal or plastic clips, or by heat or ultrasonic welding. They are suitable for both MANUAL AND MACHINE STRAPPING.

PET binding straps

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) binding straps are lightweight and, compared to PP tapes, feature higher strength, making them suitable for PACKAGING HEAVIER ITEMS AND PALLET UNITS.

Thanks to their flexibility and recovery, PET straps can absorb volume changes in strapped goods.

PET straps can be joined MANUALLY OR USING A STRAPPING MACHINE.

PES binding straps

Polyester binding straps are a modern and environmentally friendly REPLACEMENT FOR STEEL STRAPS.

Thanks to their high strength, they are suitable for PACKAGING EXTREMELY HEAVY LOADS, such as metal profiles, cables, pipes, wood, building materials, etc.

Thanks to their elasticity, PES straps can ABSORB EVEN SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE VOLUME OF GOODS. In addition, if necessary, PES straps can be tightened during transport or storage. PES straps are GENTLE ON PACKAGED GOODS (they are soft, do not scratch the surface, do not rust, etc.).

PES binding straps can only be joined MANUALLY USING METAL CLIPS.

Binding straps accessories

We deliver COMPLETE ACCESSORIES for all the types of binding straps.

During manual applications, the straps are often joined with clips. Their material and design depend on the specific type of binding strap and its parameters.

Our range includes CLIPS FOR PP, PET, and PES STRAPS.

Very often, PROTECTIVE CORNERS AND CARDBOARD EDGES are used in strapping to prevent damage to the packaged product (most often the box) when tightening the packaging strap.
