CORTEC VpCI® degreasers eliminate grease, provide corrosion protection and are environmentally friendly.

Rust removers effectively remove rust and stains while remaining safe for human skin and the environment.

Degreasers with CORTEC VpCI® corrosion inhibitors help you eliminate flash surface corrosion after cleaning metal surfaces. They contain corrosion inhibitors and have the ability to protect metal from corrosion for up to 6 months after degreasing a surface that is susceptible to corrosion. The composition of all these products has been determined with safe and multi-purpose use in mind. They are water-based and natural and are, therefore, biodegradable, non-toxic and non-flammable.

CORTEC’s rust removers are based on organic chemicals that remove oxides and stains from iron, copper, brass and aluminium. These rust removers replace harsh acids and are not harmful to human skin if the instructions for use are followed.

Marking	Description
VpCI-411	It is designed for heavy-duty use in industrial and commercial applications. It is suitable for use on machine parts, tools and instruments, office equipment, worktops and workbenches, it is biodegradable and degradable and has a citrus fragrance.
VpCI-414	Cleaning and degreasing agent designed to remove temporary protective coatings from metal surfaces, can also be used to remove wax, oil, grease and difficult to remove contaminants.
VpCI-415	Cleaning and degreasing alkaline agent effective even at low temperatures, can provide corrosion protection for up to 6 months during internal storage, and can meet the cleaning and corrosion protection requirements of the aerospace industry.
VpCI-416	Highly effective alkaline agent, effectively neutralises metal surfaces after acid cleaning or etching, it also acts as corrosion protection for up to 6 months during indoor storage and is effective even at low temperatures in a wash bath.

VpCI-422	Environmentally friendly and biodegradable organic rust remover containing corrosion inhibitors, effective in removing rust and tarnish from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, effectively removes rust from steel, iron, copper, brass, chrome and aluminium. It is not harmful to human skin and does not damage paint, plastic, or rubber. It is fully organic, 100 % biodegradable and no special waste disposal is required. These properties make the product suitable for outdoor applications where possible contamination would be detrimental.
VpCI-423	VpCI-422 equivalent supplied as a gel for use on vertical or horizontally suspended surfaces.
