Wooden packaging

FULLY SHEATHED WOODEN CRATES  

These are made of planed wood, plywood or OSB. They are used for packing common machinery, machine parts, equipment susceptible to mechanical damage, and goods at risk of theft or loss. The weight of the goods to be transported can exceed ten tonnes. Products packed in this way are protected from direct climatic influences, such as rain or UV radiation. Fully sheathed crates also prevent mechanical damage to the transported items and facilitate handling. This type of packaging allows for outdoor storage in the open air, and stacking.

LATH CRATES

Lath crates are a simpler and cheaper variant of solid crates. They are used for less demanding products or transport methods.

WOODEN PALLETS

Wooden pallets are one of the cheapest packaging elements to create a handling unit. Pallets complement other packaging, such as MilCorr heat shrink wrap.

WOODEN TRANSPORT ELEMENTS

These elements are also referred to as bases, “sledges”, trestles or cradles. Whatever you call them, they are used in the transport of bulky products. They are mainly used to secure the transport position and to fix the product to a container, pallet or means of transport. These elements also significantly simplify product handling.
